Have you seen "The Whapper?" This is a big "yard/meter" stick kind of thing sold in my local yarn shop that you use to help block knitted items. Basically, once it's pinned out - you use the flat side to whap the knitted item to set the block. Like spanking it!
Sounds crazy but it works really well. Lemonbee on Ravelry has one and has used it. She bought it at Sheepy Yarn Shoppe in MN.
Very beautiful I think you will have to be my go to guy for knitting help you are so good at it.
